Fight with a Chair

On Sunday, Benson was holding himself up on a wooden chair, he lost his balance and fell Kyle caught his head before he banged it on the ground Benson screamed crying he got so scared well I hurry and picked him up and he wouldn't stop crying. Then Jason took him from me and he stop .. I was surprised he stop crying.. it was kinda funny.. it seemed like he wanted Jason. Within moment Jason screamed saying "He has a bloody nose". I felt so bad for Benson no wonder he was so upset. He must of hit his face on the chair as he was loosing his balance. I took him and laid him on my lap and then noticed that under his lip was a bloody welt he had bumped his lip too. He had his first fat lip. Poor Benson he had a hard day. His first little fight with a Chair... First of many bumps too come..

BIG BEN

So this morning Benson woke me up talkin and talkin away.. might i add he was standing up in his bed! he was turning his head towards me, wanting me to get him out.. When i first saw him this morning i couldn't believe that he was standing in his bed. i said "wow how did you do that you are so big!" he just smiled at me! This week he has been so big.. he is pulling himself up alot more and walking along furniture. My benson is growing so fast. I cherish each little moment i have with him when i nurse him because i know it wont be too long when hes not nursing anymore and that means he will be running around then.

I just wanted to wish Jordan a very Happy Birthday! Jordan is so awesome! Benson adores him as well. My whole life I have always wanted a little brother! I finally have one! Little Explorer

So this morning I was laying on the couch watching a movie as Benson was below me playing on the ground with his toys I was playing and talking to him, then, I went back watching the movie 2 seconds later I look down to see Benson and I found him under this chair haha.. it was so cute.. I would sure like to know how he figured out to get under there; the gap between the wooden bar on the chair and the ground are quite close to eachother.. I couldnt resist I had to take a picture.. and he was so happy! he sure likes exploring now he can sure get around fast! he knew he crawled somewhere pretty coool.. its pretty funny though I think the basket next to the chair caught his eye.. wow am I'm in for it he is going to get into everything before i know it.. here comes Benson!!

Last day in utah we had to take pictures with grandma. We love you. We enjoyed our first vacation as a family.!!!

I know He LIVES

Kyle and I had the wonderful and great opportunity to go to the Salt Lake Temple. It was so breath taking. Those who haven't gone yet,GO! you will not regret it. It will change your life. I felt the spirit there like I never felt before, of course I have felt the spirit in the Mesa Arizona Temple; but the spirit in the Salt Lake Temple is one of a kind. When Kyle and I got there we just barely missed the 2pm session we didn't know that we had to wait another hour for the next session. We are so glad though that we waited. We were asked to be the witness couple and what a great experience it was to be the witness couple in a live session. See this was our first time in the Salt Lake Temple and the first time to be the witness couple. This experience brought Kyle and I closer together. We will cherish this moment for the rest of lives! In each room we went into we admired how beautiful it was. I am so grateful for our ancestors for all that they did to build this beautiful temple! After we got to the Celestial room a man there that was conducting the session told us come follow him he wanted to show us something. We began to follow the man and he showed us the room that once was Lorenzo Snow office which now is the sealing office. In there there was a fireplace that was beautifully carved, there is no other temple with a fireplace. Next we went into a room that had a beautiful stain glass of the first vision. Now the moment I saw this stain glass the spirit was so strong that it was so overwhelming. The man started to cry, he said that behind this stain glass leads up to the Holy of Hollies. Kyle and I noticed a light shining through the glass. He began to tell us that the light was on and that someone was up there. The prophet of the lord. He said in my whole life i have never seen this light on. It was so amazing to see. I know that President Thomas S. Monsen is our Prophet today. I know that my Savior Lives and that he communes with the Prophet. I can't even begin to tell you how strong the spirit was.. It was incredible! This experience in the Salt Lake Temple has strengthen my testimony so much! I love the gospel I know its true. How blessed we are that Heavenly Father has given us Temples to go there and to feel of his spirit.

BBQ with Grandpa Sprouse

We got to see Kyle's dad again while we were up there.. They had a little swing set that Benson had so much fun with.. I have the happiest baby! Benson has a great smile! He makes me so happy! I can't believe that Heavenly Father has blessed me so much with a sweet boy! I thank him everyday for Benson! I'm so Happy to be a Mother!

Visit at Grandpa Holmes

We had a lot of fun at Grandpa and Grandma Holmes. Grandpa was so nice to get a swing out for Benson.. he loved it everytime we would take him out he would have a fit and right when we put him back in he would have a big smile on his face!! Benson then got to meet grandpa's horse Spirit. Grandpa was so happy to see Benson! Grandpa and Grandma house has great scenery we could not pass it up we had to take pictures!

Benson meet Grandpa Sprouse

Finally, Benson got to meet his grandpa Sprouse. It was so sweet when they first saw each other. Benson almost 9 months when he meets his grandpa. Kyles dad was so happy to see him. He couldn't believe how much Benson looks like Kyle. We love you Grandpa Sprouse!!

Vacation in Utah

Wed. July 22nd kyle Benson and I went to Utah with kyles family. We left about 6 or 7 pm and got to knab and stayed over night. Benson was so tired.. he did really good though the drive up there. I'm so blessed and grateful to have such a good baby. I hope he keeps it up when we go out town in the future.. The next day we drove the rest of the way to Eden its in Ogden valley. That night we went to a rodeo. It was so fun. There was a guy that sky dived down with an American flag.. Then that night there was fireworks Benson was so cute admiring them. We had a good time together!
